Former tennis ace’s father was a personal tennis coach US and the sheriff’s department is looking for more victims
THE dad of ex-tennis star Mark Philippoussis has been arrested on suspicion of abusing two children he was coaching.
Nikolaos Philippoussis, 68, is charged with multiple counts of lewd and lascivious acts with two minors in the US, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said Tuesday night.
He was arrested at his residence in Mira Mesa, a neighbourhood in San Diego, yesterday.
Philippoussis works as a personal tennis coach in Northern San Diego County and the alleged victims took lessons from him.
San Diego Sheriff Bill Gore posted on Twitter that detectives from the department’s Child Abuse Unit are looking for more victims in the case.
